About Anthony and AVS Fitness
Hello! I’m Anthony, the founder of AVS Fitness. My fitness journey began as a lifelong athlete and gym rat with a passion for cooking. After serving as an Air Traffic Controller in the Air Force, I starting pursuing a degree in exercise science. During college, I started personal training, and I have been doing it ever since.
I created AVS Fitness because of how confusing fitness advice has become for most people. Between online gimmicks and quick-fix programs, people are being sold trends instead of how to train effectively, eat sustainably, and stay consistent. My goal is to cut through any fluff and get to what actually works.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve seen as a trainer is nutrition. I like to tell my clients, I can get you in great shape in only 3 hours a week of working out, but you have to eat every damn day. I can coach your squat, deadlift, and make sure you push your body to the limit in person. However, I cant be there when you open your fridge. That’s why AVS Fitness is not just about training, its about learning how to fuel your body with real food that supports your goals.
AVS Fitness is a place for trustworthy fitness advice and simple, healthy cooking, no trends, no gimmicks, just results build on consistency, clarity and effort.
My Training Philosophy
My philosophy is very straightforward: there are no excuses, only obstacles. Everyone faces unique challenges, but nothing will completely halt your progress unless you let it. Excuses will hold you back, but you can over come any obstacle even if you don’t know how yet. Everyone can win the physical battle, but winning the mental battle is what truly yields results
I emphasize optimized training, tailored to individual needs and goals. That means finding workouts you actually enjoy and can stay consistent with, while using evidence-based methods to maximize results. The best plan is the one that fits your life, challenges you to grow, and makes you stronger both inside and outside the gym.

I cut through the industry bullshit. The fitness world thrives on your insecurities, selling overpriced supplements and quick fixes. I’m not here to sell you a fantasy. I’m here to help you build real lasting results. You don’t need fancy supplements or an unorthodox approach; what you really need is determination, consistency, and belief in your own capabilities.
With years of hands-on experience and a background in exercise science, my approach is built on both practical skill and proven knowledge. I don’t just train people to look strong, I train them to be capable. My goal is to help you build the kind of strength that carries over into every part of your life.
Moreover, I’m not just another meathead in an overly tight T-shirt. Alongside real world results, I’ve studied the science and earned the certifications to back it up. My coaching focuses on education, sustainability and helping you develop the mindset to push through obstacles long after our sessions end. I’ll guide you, hold you accountable, and keep you focused, but ultimately, you’re the one who earns the results.
